How's the Fujitsu N3010?

I know there's a huge thread on the N5010, but I was wondering what people think about the N3010.

Screen not nearly as impressive. Fujitsu may make MVA seem like a unique innovation, but it is really not. All good LCD panels use MVA, PVA, or IPS. It is a lot better than the TN panels that other makers may use, but it's nothing extraordinary.

Very.

The screen on the n3010 is the same as the n5010 except the n5010 is bigger... Exact same technology on both "TFT MVA"... fujitsu just renamed it to Crystal View

Can you post any links that verify this, or is this pure speculation?

This is not true. The screens of both N3 and N5 are MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) screens. MVA is an improvement over TN (twisted nematic), but it is not proprietary to Fujitsu.

Crystal View, as far as we know, is a proprietary technology of Fujitsu. It offers increased brightness and contrast over other screens, including other MVA screens. The N5010 also has an AR-coated glossy screen, while most other screens are matte. Not sure about the screen finish of the N3010, however.

I've seen the N3010 and the N5010 side-by-side. The contrast and brightness difference is clearly visible. The specs verify this fact: the N5010's screen has a 600:1 contrast ratio, compared to the 400:1 contrast ratio of the N3010.

I agree the n5010 is using two tubes to produce the light thus making the 600:1 contrast ratio where as the n3010 uses one. but the n3010 does have the same glossy screen as the n5010.
