Upgrading RAM in LG LP60

Can anyone tell me where the RAM slots are situated in the LG LP60 Notebook?? It came with 256Mb, I installed another 512Mb in the slot on the bottom of the unit. However, I cannot find where the 2nd slot is.. I have another 512Mb module but dont know where to put it!!!

Its moslt likely under the keyboard if its not on the underside of the notebook with the other slot.

Thanks for that - I though the same thing but I can't figure out how to get under the keyboard and cant find any documentation to tell me how to get to it either..

If u dont know what ur doing, and really want to upgrade ur ram then I would suggest u take it to a shop and ask them to do it. It wouldnt take long, and prolly wouldnt cost a fortune either.

I say its better to pay a little now and have it done by a proffesional, rather than u hack into ur own laptop aimlessly (sp?) and god knows what could happen if u dont know what ur doing (specially with a nice laptop like urs). If it was a 5 year old pos i'd say hack away and learn a thing or two.

If you take it to any Best Buy, they'll only charge $39 for the install of the ram. If they screw up, its their fault.
But if it came with 256 only, that means its somewhat old. There's a very minor possibility they only had one slot, but I've neverseen it that way.
It could be that the slot that you are using is just directly on top of the empty one ;]
