5680 and Echo Indigo IO

Well I bought an Echo Indigo IO, thinking it'd be a great addition to the 5680, but as most of you know, they aren't compatible........ BUMMER. I called Echo and they informed me that the ENE cardbus controller on the 5680 is not compatible with the Indigo. What are the chances that an updated driver will fix this situation is the near future? Is anything being worked on? Is there any hope at all? Thanks

Is it just the 5680 that is incompatible or are all SAGERs afflicted?

I know the Echo Indigo (not IO) works on the
Texas Instruments PCI-1520 CardBus Controller
because that's what my 8887 has.

Some links that say it does not work on 5680 or the ENE Cardbus.

Although I don't have the Echo Indigo, I know that the 8890 uses the same cardbus chip as the 8887 so it should be safe with an 8890.

it works on my 4760 which sager's site says has a ene cardbus. and i couldn't be happier with it. i mean, my software synths play with no noticeable latency. they're actually usable now.
