3790 hdd issue

I've searched and searched but can't find anything that helps. The hdd in my 3790 is a 60GB toshiba MK6022GAX, and it's been crapping out on me over the past few weeks. I can still get it to work, but the system will crash every so often. I've tried 2 other 60GB toshiba MK6026GAX drives and bios will not recognized them. It says "hard drive c = 0MB" for both of them, and they are brand new hdd's (straight from the warehouse at work ). I checked the specs on both the original and the 2 new drives and don't notice anything different. Am I blind, dumb, or just plan retarded cause it's driving me crazy.

Any help would be appreciated.

i don't know what i did, but i got them to work. after getting windows installed on a couple of them i was having a blue screen of death issue with any hdd i used. i ended up having to swap out ram as one stick was bad. not sure if that could cause the symptons i was having before though.
