MediaDirect Problem, Need Help

I formatted my hd last night. I deleted all of the partitions and made two new partitions, C & D, and installed a fresh copy of windows on the C drive. I then tried to leave the 1308mb unpartitioned space to reinstall mediadirect but when I tried to reinstall, it stopped at 10% and geave me a "failed message". I then went into disk management and saw that the unpartitiond space was less than 1308mb. Is there a way to get mediadirect to work without reformatting the whole hd again?

Rummage thru this thread and see if that helps any. Of note...

If you press-on with a Reinstall as you've done, you'll need to increase the space for the reinstall. 1308MB is not enough.

As far as avoiding another Windows reinstall when/if you modify the partitions, not sure how to get that done without some software such as Partition Magic or Acronis. Maybe someone else has some nifty ideas. If you do a 'Long Repair' as outlined in the thread, you should be able to get things going, but up to you....

I went ahead and reformatted already. Deleted all partitions, then made only one partion and left 2048mb of unpartitioned space. Everthying is worthing fine now (including media direct).
