I'm wondering if anyone can help me with this problem. I have a 700m with a non functioning touchpad. Basically, I've plugged in a wireless mouse into the USB port, and that solves the problem, but I'm wondering how to get my touchpad back. I've checked the Device Manager and see nothing for the Synaptics Touchpad under the Mice category. So I installed the touchpad driver from the Dell site, and rebooted. However, there is no change. I do not see anything when I reboot (new driver installed) or anything like that. Is there a step I'm missing here? Can anyone help?
