Right now I'm testing out the XPS I got this afternoon in the mail .. So far no lockups here .. Ran 3DMark and Aquamark a few times and ran UT2004 Demo for awhile with no lockups.. Keeping my fingers crossed ..
I just found my Battlefield CD but am downloading all the patches right no so it won't be until tomorrow that I can really test that ..

Rather than put up with Toshiba's lousy support any longer I made the decision to purchase a new machine.
My XPS ordered on 3/2 has been in the "Build" stage for 6 days now. Should I/can I cancel my order? I do not wish to buy a system sold for gaming that is prone to over heating when executing the exact function it is advertised for. And yes Toshiba's have a big overheating history related to poor design and BIOS controlled fan settings (I've owned 3).
