Am I reading this correctly. I thought the XPS had a 256 card.....not a 128 Ati....
Can anyone confirm this??

Two days before it was released gr8gatzby, like all the other tech stuff we own.

AFAIF Dell's website is offering an "upgrade special" for XPS 128 people. You can return existing laptops and get them bumped to 256. At a cost of course .

I don't think there is a game out that even requires a 128 on the box at this point. 64 is fine.

We used to worry about video memory taking a chunk out of shared main memory. Somehow I think gr8gatzby might be right - we will start to worry if main memory can share some of video memory.
