GeForce 8000/dx10 dell

when can we most likely see a notebook with vista, a dx10 compatible card thats dedicated, to purchase??? Rumor has it that Nvidia will be shoiwing off the 8000 series on nov 8, so can we see a vista and dx10 vid card (preferably the nvidia 8000 series) notebook by xmas???

not even close to xmas, most predictions are running from summer 07 to fall/xmas 07

I sorta thought that as well, however there are a lot of problems with putting one of those in a laptop for example, getting enough power to it, and heat problems in a laptop, its 3-4 times as powerful as 7xxx GTX's therefore producing A LOT of heat, as we know, heat in a laptop is bad. Also they are in general bigger than the old one as rumor goes. So there are many problems to work through before we see it put into a laptop
