Thread Starter
Hi,

I have purchased an ASPIRE 5672 WLMI. (2 Go RAM, Intel Core Duo 1.66, SATA HDD 5400 rpm)

My OS : Windows 2003 Server

My pb:
when i play music from CD or from the local disk, the sound is jerked, irregular.....
However the notebbok global performance is good! I don't understand.

Any solutions

Thanks

Well, why not...
The gpu driver, is it the "ATI Mobility Radeon X1400" drivers ?
I have the ATI Catalyst control center 1.2 ! But to find a version for windows server 2003....???

Thanks

I use winamp or windows media player.
My IDE controler is DMA set if detected.
I also tried to defrag my hard disk....
I don't understand... For a notebook like that it's not normal!!!!
If i just play music : no problem, but if i try during the same time to work on word or i surf over the web, the sound is jumping!!!!!

would u try the following tweaks?

1. turn off indexing

2. disable file&printer search in ur network connections if u r not on a network

3. turn off all performance counters using "exctrlst.exe" and/or diskperf -n
