My Acer AS1694 recently stopped turning on.
I put the laptop into sleep mode, tried turning it on - nothing. When
the laptop is connected with the A/C cable, there is (normally) a green
light at the front. This light is not on.
The same thing happened about 2 weeks ago. That time, I opened it up,
blew some dust off the fan, put it back together... and it turned on.
No such luck this time.
I cleaned the fan, tried powering it on with only 1 memory module,
tried removing the battery - nothing. No matter what I do, the laptop
refuses to turn on or make a sound. Holding the power button does not
do anything.
What can I do?
