8890 PCMCIA question...

The two PCMCIA slots on the 8890 are right one on top of the other, I can tell that much from the pictures - but are they both oriented upwards, or do they point opposite directions from each other? Seems to me that if you had to put something like a Wireless card or an ECHO Indigo card in the bottom slot, if they both face upwards, that would block off the upper slot, completely defeating the point of having two slots.

The 8887 has both going Upwards so I bet the 8890 is the same way.

Yeah they both face up, but not all PCMCIA cards have a butt. Cant say I've ever used either slot myself.

how is that useful? Grrr.... the only two PCMCIA cards right now that I know of and would think of using are a wireless adaptor and an Echo Indigo card... they both have big bumps coming out of them. That's frigging frustrating.
