Artifacting - Which component?

With the artifacting, which component is failing?
GPU? Video RAM? Other?

I think it's the RAM.

Mostly due to over-driving the RAM speed to a speed that is not really very compatable with the GPU speed. The setting must match to avoid problems and the Sager/Clevo defaults ARE NOT the best settings for the unit.

Most times, "clogged" ventalation is the "real cause".

2nd time my unit was in for repairs, Sager told me that they replaced the Video RAM. That seemed to've cured the artifacting I was having at that time.
