Macbook Battery %

Hello,

I wanted to post something here that was on Mac Rumors. I hope you do not mind. I trust the locals on here more.

A few people includingme are noticing that when our Macbooks are fully charged they only register 97%-99% charged. Is this a problem?

i was noticing this as well. my battery would take an hour or so for it to make the switch from orange to green. just going that 1%.

the last few weeks, its been accurate as far as it saying 8min till full. itll usually take a little longer, but generally close.

It's like that for all Mac laptops. They'll register charged all the way down to 94 percent or so. It does this to help the battery last longer by not charging it whenever it goes down from 100 percent.

Your computer still uses it's battery when you put it to sleep.
