Power Adapter

This peice of shit power thing they give us to plug into the wall are horrible! Anyone come up with any solutions yet? I mean like 80% of the time i can't use my macbook due to the power adapter not staying in. Apple should really redesign this or someone should some out with an aftermarket replacement. P.O.S.

You may want to try getting a replacement from Apple. My magsafe adapter has saved my laptop from catastrophe multiple times.

I'm speaking of the part you plug into the wall, not the magnetic part. also one thing that just happened to me that's off topic. On my MB the mouse butting, when held down will only allow me to drag something for about 2 seconds until it acts like i released my hand though I haven't. MB is going back very soon....

i agree with muffin. ive gotten to the point where i carry the extension around with me. i wish apple sold just this 6ft extension on its own, so i can have one behind the desk and one in my pack.

its a cool concept (the whole brick) but what an amazing piece of poooooh

for most people that use their computers at a desk, its always a pain to remove the extension.


any idea if ebay or even apple offer the extension only?

If you go to an Apple store and ask nicely they might order one for you. Or you can call and say you lost it some how and see what they'll do.
