Ordered My m9700

This is my second Alienware and first Laptop. First laptop i ordered never made it to my house(Fedex "Misplaced" it) so I canceled the order. I ordered my m9700 on the 19th before the promotion. So i went ahead and called to get the promotion. Sure enough I got it Im on phase 5 and have been there for a week or so Anyways here are the specs

I would have gone SLI but im on a limited budget, hehe. The only PC game I play now is Unreal Tournament 2K4. I think it should run it fine. I will upgrade the memory later on and add a second hard drive myself. Hopefully it gets moving from Phase 5. This phase game is a killer. The wait just gets too you.

It will most definatly be a blast for ut2k4, no matter what m9700 you get.

Just ordered mine too... phases really suck! damn you for being in phase 5 already What was your estimated shipping date?

My ETA ship date is for today. I just checked the Order Status and WoOot!! Phase 9 I just hope Fedex doesnt screw up and loose it again. Sucks filing a claim getting it approved, getting a refund on your account.

Grats to you! I've been in phase 3 since the 2nd. Est shipdate was originally the 9th, now up to the 13th. I'm losin it! lol

grr I can't wait any more!!! It's only been a couple of days since I hit phase three but since it doesn't skip to phase 5 in a day like most other people on here i am getting unreasonably impatient I think I need help

By the way, how did you find out your ship date got shifted? The only ETA I have is the one that I saw when composing the system...

I called to change system config a bit. Wanted to do raid0 80 7200's and dump AlienAutopsy. She informed me that there had been a motherboard backorder or some issue she was having trouble indentifying and my date had moved to the 13th. I really think she just made that up lol, because she was stammering and put me on hold 4 times. The whole conversation took almost 20 minutes and it wasn't resolved when we hung up. She emailed me the updated config that night. My first rep at AW was so great, the last two I've spoken with have been sub-par to say the least.

My experience exactly. There is very qualified and very unqualified personel there... Same as everywhere though. I'm already happy when I have a chance to actually run into qualified people.
