OK, a quick run down of my exp with this situation. I got my first 9400 2nd week of Jan, promptly killed the card as it was a rev 1, A dell tech came over n swapped my card out and also my screen (was bleeding light like a torch) the new screen had dead pixels so they sent me a new 9400, when this arrived I bricked it again (this was before the new revision was apparent) So, I took the card out the old lappy (the card from the tech) and noticed a 6 month difference in manufacturing, the old card in the new lappy flashed fine. The two dead cards were made after september, the one that flashed was stamped with July.
Anyway, I want to get the old one working again with the rev1 bios that a few peeps have posted, but the cd drive seems to be acting up (def not the cd i'm using as i've tried it in my new lappy)
Does anyone have the guide for creating a usb drive image that picks up from the autoexec file embedded in the original ISO? The link to ZVB's guide is down.
Or if anyone can knock up an ISO with the new BIOS rev ONLY with an autoexec on it i'd be very much obliged, i've tried myself but can't get the boot image to work properly, keeps dropping to an A:/ and as i'm black screened I need to know everything's working fine.
Please help guys! Cheers
