Gateway Solo 1450 memory issue

Hello!
I just bought a Gateway Solo 1450 from ebay with 256mb ram. I bought memories also from ebay that works on other laptops 512mb and 128mb PC133 and PC100 144pin. With not successful results on my Solo 1450.
Is there any BIOS crack to able to use another brands?

ur model calls for PC133-144 pins & support up to 1024mb
what did u mean by "not successful results"?

I tried with PC100 128mb model and 512mb pc100 model with no succesful result. DOn't boot up.

tried with the pc133 module? (no mixing)
any beep/noise?
