Thread Starter
did it change any thing at all from your previous scores?
try deleting the benchmark file and running it again, also restart your PC

@WilliamG

28.818909 / 65.846169 / 149.711197 fps -- Score = 65.757393 rand[9600]

Thats weird since I have the standard Dell ATi Drivers. Do you have the Omega drivers?

I'm using the 4.3s with DHModtool1.7 to make it work with the notebook. I just can't get my card to overclock (or have any difference in UT2004 that is...) I use Radlinker to overclock, and also ATITool. No luck with either it seems.

*Update*

Strangely....with ATI Tool, I can see the difference on the 3d object fps when I overclock. It clearly jumps in fps. However, UT2004 sees no difference with that benchmark tool! Odd!

you should try 3dmark 2003 instead, since it only testes the gpu, and not all the other stuff like memory and the cpu.

Ok I'll do so. I'm just finding the max core/memory my card can handle. Seems that the max core is 367.20, and the max memory it can handle is around 267.30. This was done using the 'find max' on ATiTool 0.0.18

I ran 3DMark 2003 at 366.88 core/266.82 mem and came up with 3044 3DMarks. Bear in mind this was run with a few IE windows open, Norton running, etc etc. Nothing closed down. Wif-fi still on. Not sure how good 3044 is...but there you go.

An inspiron xps gets about 3300-3400 with default settings.

Considering the 9700 is an overclocked 9600 I wouldnt be surprised
