It seems that Gateway is the fastest to update about quad core.

Wow...I'll go back to a desktop when I can get dual 3ghz Quad core processors

So how long until we get these in our laptops?

nice spinitch... we could probably put together the same system for about 6k in parts... and voodoo would probably charge twice that if you configured it the same :]
