Finally got my sentia this evening. Took it out of the box and started it up to get the biggest shock of my life.. the screen was absolutely dreadful.. it was blurd and gloomy. I remembered reading about someone else's problems regarding the screen in this forum and made the changes to the settings after reading the posts. It's amazing now.. thanks guys!

Glad it's all working the way you want it - just curious - what changes did you make?

It's because the default resolution the factory sets it at is 1024x768. You have to have it set to the native LCD resolution to have it look clear.

Yup.. i wonder why alienware does that.. it gives a bad impression of the screen when you first look at it.. neways, i changed the resolution and removed AnyKey and that seemed to do it..

This is one of the reason's I went with the Sentia - I wanted a 14.1" screen with 1400x1050 resolution - not that many nice laptops sporting that.
