i bought an acer aspire 9410 which features a bluetooth button on the laptop for turning on and off the bluetooth adapter. the manual explains how this feature works as well. well, after purchasing a bluetooth mouse i find out i don't really have bluetooth at all. isn't this deceiving on acer's part? there's even a bluetooth driver available for download from their web site. the acer tech said a bluetooth adapter doesn't ship with it.
1) i have 2 questions about this laptop. now that i find out there is no bluetooth, is there any bluetooth card i can purchase that will work with the bluetooth button. on the bottom of the laptop i notice there is a blank slot(mini pci?), maybe that's where it can go.
2) the sound quality sounds extremely choppy and stuttered at times. i phone their tech support and they said try reinstalling the sound driver. didn't help at all. i noticed in another post a user mentioned they changed their drive to ntfs that also had bad sound quality. i have done the same. i wonder if that's where the problem lies.
any other acer specific forums out there? i've only found a couple of posts for my laptop.
