FS: Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP

I'm selling a Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP with 4 year warranty and NuShield screen protector for $650 w/ free shipping (standard UPS shipping, no overnight etc.). I purchased the monitor in August and everything works perfectly. I ended up buying a 42" LCD TV w/ 1080p and have decided to use that for my new monitor instead, and that is the reason I'm selling the Dell.

Comes complete in box with all cables, including DVI and VGA. Send me a PM if you are interested and have any questions.

Also forgot to mention that I am not accepting trades or partial trades for this item.

Maybe that's why I have a wireless mouse and keyboard and sit in a recliner a good 7 feet away from the TV.

Those are 3 year warranties btw. And you have $58 dollars for shipping as well. If someone wants to take this off my hands now I'll ship it for free.

The extension to 4 years is $29 , and the NuShield is $30 + s/h. So those are taken into consideration when figuring the price.

Post a pic, it will sell faster, also if you want to trade stands I might throw in some money, I like your stand rather then my 2405 stand

I've probably used this monitor a total of 2 times since I've had it. So it has been tested to see that it works with both VGA and DVI, with both my desktop and my Inspiron 9300. So it hasn't exactly seen that much use. Plus the four year warranty is transferable through Dell's website.

I'll get some pictures up soon.

Sweet deal. I want a monitor.. I just got a 19" wide screen and had to return it! I have been stuck with CRT monitors for the last 8 years

What TV did you buy? I was lookin for that size with 1080p but all i could find was 720p, granted it was a few months ago. Even at 720p it still looks pretty good hooked up to my pc.

BTW 650 shipped with the screen protector and 4 year warranty is a very fair price considering the usage and the fact that you can verify/gaurantee no dead pixels or obsene light leakage. Good luck with the sale man id probably be all over this had i not bought an LG display 4 days ago.

I bought a 42" Westinghouse from Crutchfield. It is sort of an off brand but it was priced right and I haven't had any problems with it. Picture is great.

Ive heard so many mixed reviews about Westinghouse, ive heard they are absolutely awesome, and ive heard they are cheap and you get what you pay for. I actually was very close to buying the 37in 1080p Westinghouse LCD TV. Either way i hope it works out well for you.

The only real complaint I've heard about the Westinghouse, at least the model I have, is that once and awhile it will shut off and not come back on. So you have to unplug it to reset it. I've had mine for three months and no issues yet. Crutchfield is known for excellent customer support so I know if any problems arrise I won't have to worry about being taken care of.

what resolutions are you running it at ?....with your 9300 hooked in

EDIT: never mind, the 9300's should be able to power them at native resolution, i.e 1920x1200.
for some reason, I thought the 2407's were able to go upto 2560x****(i forget).

the 9300's with the x300 or whatever ati base card they come with can run the native WUXGA (1900x1200) res with ease, just gaming you have to tone it down

Just a heads up. I'll leave this ad up for a little while longer, and then if I don't end up getting anyone interested in buying it I'm gonna put it on ebay.

I just bought one of these from Dell... I paid $679 and only got a 3-yr warranty. The WFP has the 5ms response time, so watch for cheaper FPW models that are only 12ms. This is definately a GREAT deal, and I must resist... ACK! RESIST! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo. lol
