[need guide] formating lenovo 3000 N100 D8A

I want to format my new laptop, what am i should backup 1st?
is the hardware driver can auto detect by microsoft XP?
i hate the all software on the bundle pack, except the lenovo care maybe usefull.
and i didn't get any CD/DVD for reinstalling.
anyone can help me here?

I formatted my lenovo 3000 N100 notebook, but i did bakup all drivers and softwares bundle pack( U can also download drivers and application from lenovo's website

But i would suggest u to backup all drivers and applications software by lenovo.There three folder that u must bakup
1) DRIVERS 2) I386 (for winxp) 3) IBMTOOLS

So go ahead.
