Oh yeah, just changed a lightbulb for one of my residents and noticed a box for a GeForce 7900 GS on the bed. Gotta say it hurts when you go "Oh yeah I know it's a good card, my laptop has 2 of them." Yup gotta love Alienware.

It's not sad. Bragging about your stuff is kind of lame because it will be outdated in a month or two. LOL

Well I guess there's a fine line between "braggin" and just having "pride" in something...

i don't think the OP was "bragging" but more just being proud and found it humrous that he had 2 "desktop" like gpu's in a laptop...which would have been considered absolutely absurd 1-2 yrs ago =P

Remember when upgradable graphics in a laptop first came out? LOL Who would have thought there would be two cards in there eventually?

w/ technology now days, I wouldn't doubt that laptops will one day be user upgradeable...

although it may look like some kind of "lego" set haha

Seriously, I think that end-user built laptops will become very commonplace as everything gets smaller and more compact. Also, the enthusiast market is growing every year. We will demand more and more innovation and choices for custom systems. Home-built custom laptops are coming, IMHO.

Yea its an injoy it while you have it kind of thing. My new sager 9750 broke 9890 on 3d mark. Heck i havent even had a chance to go threw and optomize it, i bet it will cross the 10k mark. Not bad for a single Card unit that gets 2-3 hours on batt. In a month or two I am sure something else will be killing my system.
