[Aspire 5672] Weird screen?

Hi guys,

As I was coming back to NYC from DC tonight, I turned on my 5672 when I arrived at my hotel.
I freaked out because the screen was "weird" for a few seconds: the image "trembled" from left to right (and back) and it also blinked a few times. Then it went back to normal.
Could it be because my laptop was in my suitcase (which I was carrying around myself so it wasn't mistreated) and the cold/hot air difference made it go weird??
I'm a bit worried now.

Maybe check the battery and make sure its making a clean solid conection as well as making sure its attached well. That could also be said about with a AC adaptor. I also recommend rotating the plug while its in the laptop socket to make sure its got a nice connection. That does not have to be done often. I would recommend once every two months. Dont wiggle it though, dont want to make that connection loose. :-)

Its very possible that it may of just needed to warm up, hopefully nothing in your screen warped from temurature. I doubt that.

Wow I just read you laptop specs. How long have you had that laptop? I didnt know they made the 5672 with a 80gig and X1200.

Oooops! it was a typo! My 5672 has an ATI X1400. But the HDD is 80 Gb because the 120 one failed me. I still need to contact Acer about that.
