Voodoo ain't all that bad. I agree that the M:460 is having some problems though... and it's a bit overdue for Voodoo to pull it from the lineup to get the problems sorted out. I wonder if they will drop the entire chassis? Weird that they dropped the M:355 (Compal CL50), as it was a solid laptop... Maybe the DX8 card wasn't sufficient?

Andy,
You should send your machine back to Voodoo even if they keep $700.00. If you try to sell it on ebay you will have to take more than a $700.00 hit on it. Another thing you may want to try is to exchange it for another model. If you think that is something that would make you happy. They may wave the restocking fee for you in that case. JMHO.

Believe me I tried to get my 20% restocking fee waived, but they would not budge and the faults were theirs. Good thing I bought it on credit card.

I'm gonna hang on to this one for awhile, it works and in a year or so I'll probably be ready for something else anyway.
