Ok, lets all calm down, he did speak to PCtorque and TOM has rectified the issue and his order was placed. In the words of Frank Costanza (Seinfeld)

Spoke with Tom this morning. nice deeep voice unlike Adam's squeak LOL JK!!

I cannot imagine he would be anything other than cordial and friendly...he is a dude

I am sure that whatever happened was probably a misunderstanding because there are several idiots like gsferrari who call in without any idea of what they want and need and waste his time...

PC Torque is manned by human beings and we shouldnt lose sight of that fact

Bah, I say! Where's the fun in that?

Give me death, mayhem, destruction and I'm a happy happy boy!!!

Maybe I've been playing too much of the UT2004 demo?

So Tom, what's it like at the shop?
You guys must be working overtime to get the machines out the door.
Not only is it a new machine, it's a new machine that can run UT2K4, so the FPS gamers are thinking about buying.
How many machines per day are going out?
How many orders per day?

I have to back ev'one else up with the comments about Tom. He's been nothing but super-patient with all my silly questions and the only time I've got faster reponses from anyone is from friends on IM. Absolutely lightning-fast email response times.

And yeah, we're hooman. Too bad he got caught during a bad moment. Doesn't surprise me that it was made right within a short amt of time.

to the guys and gals of PCT!

Just have to add my support for pctorque/Tom:

Awesome experience buying from pctorque.

8790 ordered 3/5, received 3/12 (with subwoofer no less).

Tom even replied twice when I mistakenly thought my price had dropped and I retardedly emailed him about it (too many darn configs I kept missing, sorry).

Lived up to all the hype I've seen on the boards.

How long do orders usually take to ship? I ordered an 8890 tuesday and the money was pulled out of my bank account right away. The bank called 20 minutes after I ordered to inform me that someone made a large purchase using my card. Anyhow, I am just curious.
