well.. I recently dropped my Verizon LG VX8100 cell phone. I was just sitting down and the phone slipped out of my pocket and hit a hard surface. Now the phone has extremely slow response time (if i try to access the menu for example, i push the menu button; but it takes literally 2 minutes to access the menu) and also the phone has random restarts. So i am in panic because i do not know what to do. I called Verizon and they said that they could not do anything because the warranty had expired. So, after doing some research I came upon this site But I am not sure if me dropping my phone constitutes for repair... I don't think that I have the box or any proof of purchase and I don't want to have to pay any money for repair unless it is less the $50.. So, my question is should I try to get my phone fixed by LG (as long as the repair will remain under $50) or should i just go ahead and either get a new phone off ebay or the verizon store?
