i got a little more info about the Dell draft N mini PCI card: it can only work on a "mini pci express slot " , i wonder if the one on the new sentia's is a mini pci x. i went to alienware's site and could not find any more info on the Alienware® Intel® 945GM + ICH7 Chipset motherboard if it contained the "mini pci x" as opposed to just "mini-pci".

I think urs has the mini pciX slot, a quick way to check is to see if u have the intel 3945 card (its pciX).

If you do not have mini-pciX then just get this adapter:

they have them at Best Buy.
