Need a NOT UGLY Core 2 Duo Laptop... Help :)

I am looking to buy a Core 2 Duo laptop sometime soon (to upgrade from my Ferrari 4005wlmi)... Although Dell & HP are good values, they are super ugly. I want something nice looking that has a 15.4" (1680x1050 at least) pretty good video card (Warcraft III) and a good processor. Sony's are nice, but really expensive. If you guys have any recommendations, please throw them my way! Thanks

sony has sh*tty service and support, Alienware is well....i'll bend over for Hussein before i pay $3000 for a Clevo. So yeah...yet another vote for ASUS. Some MSI and Uniwill models look 1/2-way decent as well... so take a look at www.uniwill.com and www.msicomputer.com

I actually think the dv line from HP (2000, 6000, and 9000) look pretty nifty. Strange that you find them so ugly.

Check out the LG S1. The new S1-M002A9 comes with a Core 2 Duo processor.
It has an elegant black & white design.

if I could even get SXGA+ on the 15.4" I would be happy. WUXGA on the 17" would be golden.

I think this is the thinnest PC laptop I have ever seen!

I had an Alienware Aurora m7700. Biggest piece of junk I've ever purchased (They built me 3 units within 6 months.) I sold the last one and bought a MacBook Pro. I've never been happier.

That looks like the Alienware 5500 (previous version of the current m5550). I have one - it's a nice notebook, and it has a 1680x1050 display. While it's relatively thin, it's not what you'd call a superlite model. Note that the Alienware 15.4" models DO NOT cost $3000, but you can find cheaper alternatives out there.

Agree that the ASUS models look nice, but imo, the MacBook Pro is still the best looking (although pricey).

Whats a better deal ... This Dell Latitude d820 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...8655&rd=1&rd=1

or this Acer Travelmate 8210 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5272773

I dont need a bluray... Is the graphics card on the Dell better than the one on the acer? Thanks
