i dont know about you, but my battery only gets hot when it charges. when its done. or when i have a full battery and i start a fresh boot up while plugged in, my battery doesnt change temps at all because its already loaded.
if yours is full and still heats up when plugged in i would call tech support. power shouldnt be circulating through it. i can understand it checking in every now and then to make sure the battery is still charged and if not beginning the charging sequence, but an always hot batter means something it wrong.
and also, i DID try removing the battery whenever i was plugged in AT FIRST. but i found that the battery actually degraded faster when doing diagnostics! i dont think its so good to keep having the battery contacts exposed/closed/exposed/closed/etc.
