Activating 2nd Headphone Port on m1210

I just got the xps m1210 and the only problems I have is the horrible screen comapred to my 710m and I can't get the 2nd headphone jack to work at all. I looked in the BIOS and the control panel but I haven't seen any options. The SigmaTel Audio Control Panel also says the jack is OK.

Hi all, new here *welcome me hahah*

So the Audigy upgrade is only *software*, correct? Does this mean I can pass up the Audigy option when ordering the system and just download the Audigy drivers from support.dell.com and it'll work?

Also, is the Audigy upgrade required for the 5.1 to work? I can't find any references that Audigy = 5.1
