I just bought nwn2 and installed on my m1210 with 7400go (T2400 1.83). The performance sucked. I have it on 1280 x 800. I have disabled water and such, tried lower resolutions, etc. I installed the latest driver from nvidia I could find with the modded inf (9.7.0.2). I only have 1G RAM on this machine. Should I go to 2G or even 4G. Dell want $3K for 4G ... way too much ... I am hoping I could find this somewhere else cheaper. Might have to go with 2G. Will RAM even bring this performance up? I also have a 9300 with a 6800 ultra video card in it. This has 2G RAM. The performance is way better ... silky smooth. What gives? I would think 7400 vs 6800 video card = faster not slower. Is it the RAM?

I have this memory installed in my Inspiron 14R. 6gb (one 2gb & one 4gb). Great performance! I highly recommend Kingston.

NWN2 is disappointing on my system with 2GB of RAM. 20 FPS indoors with nothing going on and maybe 35 outside. The sky textures go wonky on me as well unless I run the game windowed.
The M1210 isn't the best gaming rig out there (unless you factor in its size and weight and then it IS the best rig IMO) but the poor performance really IS the games fault. I can run Oblivion on medium detail well enough so the M1210 should be able to handle this.
I'd wait on patches that may hopefully improve the performance. NWN2 doesn't run that much better on my Athlon 64 3200+ with nVidia 6800gt desktop either...
