Record of sale sufficient for Acer warranty?

Hey guys,

I've had my laptop for about a month and forgot about warranty registration.

Do I have to register online or is my record of sale (receipt) sufficient for acer 1 year warranty?

When I bought the current laptop the Acer warranty process was incredibly specific, in fact it took quite a time to complete. I doubt they will give you any service without filling in the online warranty and returning it along with the Authenticity Seal.
