Upgraded to 7200rpm, Ghost sucks?

Hey everyone.
I purchased a 100gb/7200rpm (Hitachi 7k100) drive to replace my existing 100gb/5400rpm bootdrive. I didn't want to reformat, my winxp installation seems to be going 'ok'. So I decided to try cloning, using Norton Ghost 9.
Bad Idea! Norton Ghost refuses to clone whole disks (partitions only) and after trying twice to clone 90gb of data, both times the disk turned out unbootable (windows xp would complain of some bad disk configuration).
After wasting a few hours with ghost , I moved on to Acronis Trueimage. This time I could clone a whole disk including dell recovery partition etc. Excellent!
So I cloned, booted (while holding my breath), and it worked!
A full 7200rpm's of high speed goodness. Everything feels more responsive, load times are noticeably lower.

So anyone who's considering upgrading their drive to one with higher rpm's, but doesn't want to reformat, give Trueimage a go!

Use Ghost 2003. It images the entire drive. It's what I used when I upgraded my 60 GB to 100 GB.

Ghost 2003, hmm ok. Is that older or newer then Ghost 9?
The one thing I really hated about Ghost 9 is it didn't want to let me make a bootdisk to image without windows running, and I lost the included bootdisk ages ago. Does Ghost 2003 let you make bootdisks?
And are they DOS based, or do they have a nice GUI like the Acronis series?

Ghost 8 or Ghost 2003 and make a bootable CD to backup or restore entire HD,partition or image using peer to peer, USB, TCP-IP, or FireWire. It is an older verion than Ghost 9. It works under the DOS mode. I use it on my old M170 all the time. The GUI is very easy to learn, doesn't need any manual to operate.

Same as Tureimage. I believe Symamtec purchases the Ture Image Company and came out the Ghost version 9.......
