This will be a quick review, followed by a longer one with pictures. First let me go over the specs of the machine I ordered:
IBM Thinkpad T41p:
1.7Ghz Intel Pentium M chip
60GB 7200rpm Hitachi Travelstar Drive
CDR/DVD Reader in the UltraSlim Bay
14" SXGA Screen (1400x1050)
ATI Radeon FireGL 2, with 128MB RAM
2nd 60GB Hitachi drive w/UltraSlimBay Hard Drive Adapter (goes where the CD-ROM goes)
2GB of RAM (bought seperately from Crucial Ram)
First, no dead pixels. Not one.
Second, a beautiful, and I mean BEEAUUTIFUL machine. I just returned a broken Voodoo Envy 460 and I found the IBM to be much classier and far better made.
Light. Only 5.5 lbs. Very light.
Thin.. So Thin, so nice.. Love it.
Fast. Yes, very fast. And I have not even optimized XP Pro yet.
Well, more info and pictures to come soon. Its nice to have such a thin book, that's so fast, with 2GB of ram and 120GB of drive space. Nice is an understatement
