m5550 - fan full speed

Is there a way to make the m5550's fan full speed? I know in certain sager machines it was fn+f2, is there anyway to make this machines fan(s) run at full speed? I just want the machine to be as cool as possible and noise isn't that big of an issue to me.

aw support said there is no way to control fan speeds in an m5550. it is controlled by the bios, the problem is that it turns on too late (cpu 60C)... hopefully i can talk to someone and maybe they might make it so that fans turn on way before cpus hit 60c

have you try notebook hardware controller perhaps? or speedfan ? to disable smart fan

Did you try flashing the BIOS to change the setting? Also, you might want to try cleaning out any fans/heatsinks with compressed air.
