Our system of electing Presidents does not require a majority vote, it requires a majority of states electors. An electoral victor and popular vote loser has only happened twice in over 50 Presidential elections. It is hardly a problem, other than people ignorant of our system not understanding the results.
You might want to also familiarize yourself with the Security Council rules and how resolutions are handled. The Iraq war was legal and nobody that understands how the UN works and is being honest has said otherwise. Was it a wise war, I think that is a very good question?
I apologize to the other readers of this forum, I realize politics has no place here, but blatant ignorance bothers me.
