spiike, is there anywhere on the net that you can host your LED tutorial, other than PM'ing people the links? i am very interested, and i work for Dell. if you have any technical questions regarding the hardware, i'd be more than willing to help you out in any way i can.

Well, if I can find a good host or if the forum server would host my tutorials, then yes I could put it back up again. The request for them are rather rare now as the mods were done for an i8600 which is pretty much outdated now. The requests now are how to implement it to other laptops which is basically the same procedure.

Hi, can anyone tell me how to wire into the back of my USB ports to get power to LED's ? I can't find the info here and still haven't heard from Spiike ??
Also anyone know what the XPS M1710 LCD cover LED's work ? I have one and want to install it but need to know which wires to use on my I9400.

There is no M170 type hook up on your 9400 for the LEDs. You will not get them to do anything but be all on (or atleast whatever colours you select to be on. The only thing you can do is run power to them.
