Well reading all the news about the new Dell XPS, looks like they might have pin pointed it to a batch of bad ATI 9700's. I hope that's the case.
I was just wondering, others like Sager and Voodoo have released their laptops with 256MB 9700's. Will Dell be releasing an update with an option to choose 256MB 9700?
I was only considering buying a new laptop in June, perhaps Dell will have that option available to choose from when building a new XPS system.
If so, and they have sorted the GPU issue, then I'll consider buying a Dell XPS, instead of a Voodoo Envy or Sager.
