Catalyst 6.11 working with Acer Aspire 5102 - Page 2

Hey I tried installing these drivers, at about halfway through the installation it says I am missing ativdkxx.vp, so I clicked cancel and turns out I was missing every file after that. Did I do something wrong? I uninstalled the previous drivers first and everything, and rebooted as well. What should I do?

Oh so those inf files aren't the actual drivers? Okay.. I feel kind of stupid that makes sense now. I'll try again, thanks.

EDIT: When I extract the 6.11 drivers, where should I extract them to? Same place as the .infs?

7.1 catalysts for RADEON media center edition are working perfectly (and faster) with xpress 1100... definately worth modding.

Also, for those of you running vista already... I should mention that the ASUS 7.1 catalyst beta for vista is working with a few tweaks - very encouraging but still no theater mode in vista

I'm not having any luck modifying the vista catalyst 7.1 beta to support the xpress1100...

anyone manage it? they just shoot you to the same desktop download page 7.1 for ALL selections of vista x86 now. mobility, integrated, and desktop
