m60 + fx1000 - Page 2

Yeah, can you please run 3dmark 2003?
Because 3dmark 2001se you tested doesn't give as accurate score of how good the gpu is.

And can you run aquamark03 also?

thanks

I think I'm gonna keep my ati 9600 pro turbo
I get about 3100 score in 3dmark 2003, and about 24000 score in aquamrk03.

It doesn't look like the new fx5700go was what it was supposed to be.
Actually, the fx5650 go gets the same score in 3dmark 2003 if I'm not wrong.

Are you sure about that 3dmark03 score? My Go700 is actually giving me about 2700 or so repeatedly. So that means the Go1000 is actually slower? That does not sound right.

I should be getting my M60 with the 1000 tommorow. I will run some other benchmarks then also with some pics

Thanks

What time are you getting on battery life? I love the HP nc8000 but for some reason I always find myself coming back and eyeing the M60.

Hrana : i only ran the test once, not too fanatic about benchmarking, so maybe i did something wrong? i dunno.. or maybe the settings?

sbc : errrr say 4-ish or so?

wonder why you guys are eyeing a professional notebook for a gaming one? that m60 has a huge premium because of the card and the name. but if you are going to go precision, who's to say a m70 is not soon to be released

Hello, all,

I recognize some of you from Dell Forums & nVision (laptops2go) forums....

This forum seems like a good one!

Regards...

Any with the FX 1000 - have you tried the WHQL 54.01 drivers yet? They performed the best on my FX Go 700 out of the couple drivers I tried.

No inf modification needed, standby/hibernate/lid close/TV-Out work well.

Could someone post 3DMark2003 & Aquamark3 benchmarks with the FX Go 1000 + WHQL 54.01 drivers?

I may have to bite the bullet & swap my ATI 9600 Pro Turbo for a CAD card (for work reasons) so I'm wondering to use my original FX Go 700 or swap my M10 for a FX Go 1000.... long hold times with Dell again...

I know for a fact the 700 will out perform a M10 cad wise any day even the Firegl T2's
