one BAAAAD thing (for those waiting for the radeon 9700 on this machine). As you can see from the photos, there's no graphic daughtercard (pretty strange actually) and the chip is soldered on the mobo... Tooo baaaddd..
So.. no 9700 without a motherboard revision (unless you want a 9700 with 64MB of ram that is... or you simply overclock the 9600 and pretend it to be the 9700 like X1000 9000-9200 issue...)
I might be wrong, but this lappy is not made for power hungry users, but mainly for designers and businessmen, and shares more or less the same "concept design" as the Sony Z1. Of course the Sony Z1 retained its own sluggish graphic chip when the 9000, 9200 and the 9600 came around, and the same IMHO will apply with this. Luckly enough the lappy is dothan ready. (even if I really wonder how much will it costs since now is "offered" at 2500Euros + taxes with the banias chip)
