Anyone know if this is okay to use on the notebook computer's matte screen (anyone have personaly experience with this product)?

Yes that is a good cleaning solution, I have products just like them and I find that the best is a spray on solution then use a cloth to clean.

The fastest method in cleaning a screen is to use pre-packaged cloth with a solution already making it wet, then rub it onto and around the screen and it will dry aswell.

Both methods are good, that link seems to provide you with a lot of stuff, which is nice.
