Hi all of a sudden my 710m doesnt see my extended battery anymore. A technician told me that a resister in the battery is probably defective and is reporting the wrong voltage to the laptop and therefore it thinks the wrong battery is inserted.
Anyone one had this problem and if so did they find a solution? I was thinking of draining the battery to see if it would solve the problem but I dont know the pinouts.
