Guys I need your help

I just sold my laptop to a guy at work, and now...the dvd drive is coming up with exclamation point in the device manager...seriously the night before I was playing BF 2142 on it. WHich btw is a phenomenal game. Anybody have any ideas to whats going on?

did he stick anything in there? ask him if he did anything to it

reinstall drivers maybe

okay it looks like the there were two Adaptec Registry entries that were causing the problem, I wiped those....and now... ugh he's playing Grim fandango on it... I told him to play OBlivion at least....whatever.
