CONS cons CONS Dell Refurbs

Ok, I think I know the pros of getting a refurbished dell computer... which would be the lower price. What are the CONS of getting a refurbished dell computer?

I mean, couldn't the person who bought it have overclocked the cpu and stuff which could damage the cpu... other unknown damages ... They don't come with monitors (if you get a desktop)? I need to know ALL the cons... so any opinions would be very appreciated. Thanks!!

They come with the same warranty as a new Dell. Dell's are retested and in my experience were like new in box. Really, there are no cons. Buy away. I have bought at least 6 or 7 computers off the Dell Outlet and everyone was a keeper.

you can't over clock laptop CPU's, and dell desktop motherboards don't support it as well.

the GPU on the otherhand could be overclocked but I don't think dell puts machines back into refurb if they have been used for a significant period of time.

Some refurbs have never been used...just returned.
Some only have a little scratch...
Still have the same warranty so...it's no trouble.

The only cons I can think of is the resale value if you try to sell them to someone later. It's just because it carries the "refurbished" label. They are still excellent machines!
