gateway NX860XL vs dell1705

which is the better buy, either the dell e1705 or this gateway http://www.gateway.com/products/GCon...nx860xl&seg=hm

The gateway looks thinner in size and it has the max settings.........if i were to get this dell i would have 2 buy a new HD most likely and add another gig..............drop ne thoughts

Dude don't get a gateway, they are made mostly of plastic while dell is made of heat sinking composite metals. The screens on Gateways are horrific you cant even see them in a light room due to the awful glare and dimness of thier screens. I bought a gateway about 9 months ago and returned it the next day it was such a POS. I then bought a e1705 and let me tell you man there is no comparison. Dell has everything better including warranty. If your computer breaks you will have no prob getting replacement from Dell.
