Looks like they are getting ready.

M1710 driver downloads now have a Vista 32-bit choice in OS. Nothing up yet though.

Yah I'd suggest not installing those audio drivers, I'm pretty sure the ones built into Vista will work a little better. LOL

Cool, the E1705/9400 has some too already.

And just like that they are gone again...

I WOULD use the sound drivers over Vista built in ones...the Vista ones dont enable the subwoofer...in the 9300 and 9400 at least...
The Vista sound driver also does not enable the headphone jack. I use the Sigmatel driver that I use on my XP install and it works fine.

that is right. sub is disable. I was wondering if the software EAX could be upgrade to vista version...

And they are back for the XPS. Now they just need to put some actual drivers up. Come on Dell!

Thanks a lot for the links Jeff!

Looks like things are going forward for once. Vista didn't asked for reboot after installing the nvidia driver.

Unfortunately for us all, Vista uses a totally reprogrammed sound subsystem, which probably makes EAX unusable until a patch (if such a thing is possible) is released.

And knowing Creative and their incredible driver programmers [sarcasm out] it can be on the next decade

The headphones jack works in my 9400 with Vista 5840.
